Sail Napkin Fold

These napkin folding instructions will teach you how to create the sail napkin fold.  This fold may need to use a little bit of napkin Viagra… Starch!

Step one:

Lay the napkin out in front of you. If your napkin has any tags, labels or a folded over seam make sure this is facing up to begin with.

Step two:

Fold he napkin in half to the opening is facing towards you.

Step three:

take the top right corner and fold it diagonally so it meets the bottom edge.

Step four:

Repeat the same process with the let hand side.

Step five:

Place your thumbs underneath the napkin and with your fingers placed on top, bring your thumbs upwards and gentle press down with your fingers.  Keep hold of it. This step makes it look like the Pyramid Napkin Folding method.

Step six:

The next step willl make it seem as though your praying to some napkin God.  Take your thumbs out from the centre of the napkin so its just placed between your hands. Now bring your hands up towards your chin and being to chant “our saviour”  I jest! However, the napkin should now be the correct way up and you can place it upon the table knowing that you have successfully followed the napkin folding instructions.
